Let's see some Wagons!

Ditto onn loving the top photo.
Giving the pressent the vintage look of the past. Makes you feel like the good old days are back, at least in the mind which is where it counts.

wagon looks great. is the woodgrain original i never saw one with the white lines on it.

No it's not original.....as was very common on the woodgrain from the area...they would fade all uneven and look like a$$. So the original owner had them sprayed brown with a light cream tape stripes down the sides. Probably done when the car was repainted.

I think the side treatment looks more like what Ford/Mercury used to put on the sides of their wagons?

I think I add mine too. 1966 Chrysler Town & Country, 440 TNT, full option:yaayy:. Everything original, except under dash cd-radio. Came over here in '99.

The 1971 T&C is my favorite. I learned how to drive in my Dad's. He always had Mopar wagons (7 kids). I had to difficult time convincing him that a 1969 Super Bee wouldn't be too much (horsepower) for a first car.

Were you successful ? I had the same problem convincing my dad that a Torino Talladega was okay for my second car. I did have some experience, after all. It did not work. But my 1973 Satellite Sebring started my long love affair with mopars.

I like the 1972 T and C's the best. They have an aggressive front end, and the tailgate opens with the window up. A great improvement over the previous years, especially when the window does not work 40+years later.
I currently have a very loaded 1973, but am ready to pass it along.....

....and the search continues!

Yes, I had the Super Bee for 2 years and then traded it in for a brand new 1973 Challenger Ralleye with a 340 Magnum. Damn, I wish I still had both of those cars. I went in the Army on 29 December 1976 and sold the Challenger the day before for $700.
