Up here in Canada, 65 had black positive battery cables.Steve, none of the ‘65 Chrysler positive cables that are currently available are correct. I had to have mine custom made by s tech I know at M&H.

Last month at Carlisle I happen to be in their tent looking at their negative battery cables and a sales guy asked me if I needed any help. I told him I needed a negative battery cable for my '68 Imperial and that they are 37" long. He pulls out a business card and says to give the office a call and that they can make one that size.
I think that they could do the positive cable if you asked them.

They may look correct even though they are not.

This thread popped up at about the perfect time as I need to replace mine too.
Can you tell us what, other than color, is wrong with the repros? If it's just color I had thought about painting.
