What is the best wheel size to fill the rear wheel well of my ‘69 fury 3? Thanks

Are you wanting the "faux racer" look or something reasonably stock? After all, it IS a 4-dr sedan!

I'm running 255/60 15 on mine. If I have 4 people in the car and loaded trunk they rub on cornering. If my wheels had another 1/4 inch of offset they wouldn't rub at all.

There are sooo many threads about this topic and soo many different opinions..
So as a 69 Fury owner here is my opinion..

Get yerself some M body 15x7 steel wheels using the factree hubcaps or dog dish and 22570r15 tires. Fills out the wheelwells, speedo is bang on and has an excellent ride..
Hope this helps

Looking for something close to stock look, but wider and more aggressive. Not sure what direction I’m going with this build yet so I’m just getting opinions and knowledge at this point. I appreciate all input from the c-body gurus!

This is as close to stock you can get and still look good.
Here is the comparison.
New tire 22570R15 on the 15x7 wheel versus 21570R15 on the original 15x5.5 skinny rims
Lots of clearance, no rubbing whatsoever and the car rides and handles great!
