Two door vs 4 door

I believe the main differences are not in angle and such, but HEIGHT. One height for sedans and wagons, the other for hardtops and convertibles? Might need the two body styles parked next to each other to really see the difference.

Reason for inquiring? Just curious.

Just some thoughts,

Are the slab windshields, windshield angle and front jam area the same from 2 door to 4 door?
Jamb areas are the same on the fury, angle from memory is the same but the windshield is different between the (hardtop, convertible) to the (sedan, wagon). On a 65 fury the screen trims are the same except for the height on the side pieces.

For '67 and '68, my fuzzy impression is that the 2-door and 4-door cars don't use the same windshield, and that convertibles use the 4-door windshield. I would assume (or guess) that for those years, Monaco / Polara / Newport / NY / 300 and Plymouth VIP windshields are all interchangable / identical (2-dr to 2-dr, 4-dr to 4-dr). But Furys are different?

67 - 68 fast top cars use a short windshield
65 - 68 2 & 4 door cars & convertibles use a medium height windshield
65 - 68 2 & 4 door sedans & wagons use a tall windshield

Mix and match projects.. ill be back at the wrecking yard in a week. I'll take some measurements.

There should be a NAGS chart out there somewhere...ok from my 68 Chrysler "special collision parts issue"...2664426(NAGS W658)...2 and 4 door sedan and wagon....2664428(NAGS W657)...2dr hardtop, 4 door hardtop, and convertible...2664210(NAGS W692)...2dr fastop and vip...tinted versions had different part numbers from clear but still fit the same stuff so the difference isnt just tint...fwiw the fastop vent windows are different too...makes me think the fastop had a little extra aero trickery for Nascar superspeedways but the teams wound up using the B bodies instead... Windshield Differences

That's pretty interesting. I may take my angle finder and a tape and dig into it.
