MoparFest 2025

MoParFest 2025 is August 16-17.

Who's going?
I am going this year! It's been years since I have gone to this event but decided to do it since I had to miss Carlisle this year. Its only 5 hrs from my house.Going in a small group and not taking any classic mopars.Just going as spectators and enjoying the show.

I will be there bright and early.

I didn't pre-register - so how does that work? Will they take your money directly at car-side, or do you have to go and park?

How early is too early to arrive? Is 7:30 am (Saturday) ok or not early enough to get a good spot?

And field location is going to be random unless we plan it somehow. I'll only be there on Saturday.

When I attended this show years ago it was random parking for show cars. Not really sure how they are doing it now. Will be interesting to see how it is setup. The last time I was at this show I actually found a nos windshield washer bottle for my Newport.Major score for me! I thought the swap meet was good .I am anxious to see some Canadian sheet metal that I haven't seen before.

You are driving 5 hours (one way?) to Moparfest ?! That is some dedication. I hope its enjoyable for you. Yes I did see a Quebec vendor selling the repro bottles at Moparfest a couple years ago. I passed then (price) but I picked one up at Carlisle last week (better price).

If you have not pre registered, go early to help avoid line. The event organizers have a line for registered and drive ins, they will take your cash at gate when driving in. I am 2 hrs away and plan to arive at 7:30AM as it looks like I missed the preregistration.

Shows in a few days, weather looking great.

It's going to be 90 on Saturday. It's going to be a cooker like Carlisle was. That was a huge downer for me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they don't give you enough space to set up a canopy behind your car at Moparfest. Yes? No?

There have been people that have canopies up. A group that goes from Sarnia usually has a few up.

I was planning to bring my Imperial but work interfered last minute and I can't get it ready.

On the plus side, my work finishes Friday in New Hamburg, so I'll have much less travel time.

Kevin
Great, but bummer on the Imperial not showing.

Yes you can set up a shade.

If there's any interest in a group photo, anyone want to suggest a plan? I'll throw 1 pm in front of my car (dark green '67 Monaco) out there.

I believe he is parked by the Car corral. One of the last rows before the for sale cars.

Just back from Moparfest had a great day out with Tux the Imperial. I will be heading back Sunday to take a longer walk through the cars. Saturday was mostly swap meet, I scored some good stuff, I 30 Lb jug of R12 with about 8 Lbs remaining for $50. a good original 426 Hemi/440 distributor with the Rev-n-nator ECU and Coil $50. Plenty of steps in today and I was able to meet some of our FCBO members and other friends. Tux will not be making it on Sunday as the rear end noise is becoming more of an issue, so time to side line Tux and take the Swinger. I should be in the same spot or very close. Here are some photos of cars that caught my eye.
