OK first I do not know if this is the right forum for this question. Hub caps. 1965 New Yorker. I spent a few hours today cleaning/polishing the four hub caps. I noticed that one of them has a Factory indent were the valve stem comes through. The other three are flush in that area. Was there a mid year change? Different manufacturer? Or is it a 66 cap with a 65 center? You can't tell it from 2 feet away. Thanks.

'66 with a '65 center.

I found this when buying wheel covers for my '65 300L. I had some '66 wheel covers that I got from the late Ripinator and I ended up using a '65 center in one or two.

Thanks-I thought that might be it. I had a 66 New Yorker but it had 15" disk brakes hub caps so no reference to go by. I think I like the 65 better....
