Hello All, new guy here so I hope I am doing this correctly. I read the instructions and posted my intro in the Welcome Wagon. Enough on that, so let's get to why you clicked on this.

What appears to be a super rare Newport with many power options-rim blow wheel, cruise, power windows, air conditioning and the TNT 440. I'd love to see if the VIN is actually a U code but the block is orange under that grime
Perfect survivor, but has it's issues according to the ad. Unfortunately, that's a dangerously low price for a demo derby guy and with the HP engine already pulled, perfect to separate. Unfortunately, I am not the guy to save it but maybe someone on here can. Thank you.

I posted his handle because he was looking for a 440 Newport. I can't recall if he wanted a 70 or a 71 or if it mattered. I dont see fender engine call-outs on this car.

It has the roof connector between the front and rear door windows.

I don't have any vin's of CL with U or T in the vin.
Can anyone share a CL with a U/T fender tag or vin tag?

A lot of mould in that interior. One needs a good respirator mask to handle the cleaning. It being a North-East car, I would like to see a lot of photos of the bottom side, too. There is bound to be rust, there.

Looks like Colorado dust to me. Everything out here as dust like that on it.
It's a natural drying agent...

1971 Chrysler Newport Custom 440 TNT. Automatic transmission. 4 door sedan. This car has less than 100,000 original miles. Last year of the TNT 440 V8 rated at 370 horsepower. The body of this car is in absolutely incredible shape. Never been restored. Clean title. Selling as non-running. Engine was pulled and inspected, because oil light would not shut off. Ran only at an idle like this. Oil was slimy and separating, causing oil pick up to be mostly plugged up. While it didn't look like there was any damage, unfortunately engine will have to be taken apart to make sure of any possible damage. This is why it is priced accordingly. Using J.D. Power Blue book value estimation, showing $2,700 in low retail. Car has potential. Asking $2,200 CASH ONLY NO EXCEPTIONS. Montrose area.

Apples to oranges. U-code ´71 Dodge would be a police car. Different market. This said, even an N- or T-code Dodge pillar sedan (41) would sell very fast.

Guilty as charged. The Polara sedan is the only fusie sedan that I’d consider buying.
