I wonder if this NYer is EB3, EB7, or (my bet) FP6. @John Kelly

The rim blow wheel seems intact, which is rare. $6k for 44k claimed miles. I'd like to see the front footwell, the trunk pan under the mess, the firewall, and (inside) the dash pad, the front seat and driver's footwell.

It appears highly optioned, A/C, rear window defogger, Speed Control, upgraded radio. It also has the problematic leaking polymeric heater control valve and the washer bottle located under the fender does not appear to have an 'upgraded" replacement.

From the photos it looked liked it did move under its own power. Someone may have been working on putting a new carb on it, started to source a mounting plate and ran out of steam.

All the green colored tree air freshers is a bit sus. She has been outside and a bit damp - a pail of dry-rid would do wonders. I always liked the square shaped cut outs in the carpet trim along on the lower interior door panels.

All the air fresheners would make me think there is a big dampness problem seller is battling. Great potential in any case.

If that is the miles stated, it has led a rough life. Filthy, ,exterior is worn and weathered, vinyl top is ruined and might be leaking through rust underneath, engine needs a rebuild most likely. This looks like a parts car to me. Not many of the typical upgraded options such as power windows, sentinel lighting, dimmer, non tilt and tele, possibly not power locks, no tape player. This must be a mold mobile at best.

I’m guessing that the odo flipped and it’s 144k. I wonder why the speedometer numbers are faded. OTOH I’d expect a high-mileage car in Minneapolis to have succumbed to rust-out unless it never was driven in winter. One of my uncles in Winnipeg had a ’72 Fury III that was about as much rust as car by 1988. Unfortunate, because it was otherwise OK.

The HCV is not an issue, the Everco 1949 will solve it. The fact that it has an OEM valve suggests that the car has not been messed much with -- a good thing in my book. Ditto for the washer bottle.

The door pulls and carpet on the bottom of the door panels are in decent condition. Usually the driver side door pull is in shreds, so that 44K miles could be accurate.

I’m torn on this one-I’ve been looking for a 70 300 four door for a little while and this one does have many good features. On the other hand, it needs at least a brake booster and potentially a lot of engine work? Plus my buddy went to look at it and it’s got some significant rust under where the doors meet. There’s undoubtedly more. As is, it’s priced too high, but even if it were less maybe it’s best to wait for something better to come along? Thank you for any suggestions you all have. I’m new to the classic car world but I’ve always wanted one.

@kreisleriana
If this would be your first car, run.
That kind of rust is very serious and will lead to an entire basket load of rust.
You can find a better example that will cost you far less and not have to deal with the headaches of that kind of rust.
Next time your friend goes and looks at a mopar, tell him/her to take pictures of the vin tag, trim tag and door sticker.
