Been awhile since I’ve posted. But thought I’d share my new seats in my 67 Fury convertible.
Well not new, just recovered.
My daughter, who works in a furniture upholstery shop did them for me.
Instead of returning to all vinyl, I had her put cloth inserts in because sitting on hot vinyl in the summer sucks.

That looks quite period correct. Is the cloth section considered "herring bone"?
Regardless, it looks great!

Your daughter has a nice side business waiting for her...... send my compliments. Great idea for a convertible The cloth, either "houndstooth" or "herringbone" (she'll know the difference), is a good, period look. If any purists ask about it being factory, you could tell them it was a spring special at a local dealer. I won't say anything if you won't.

I'm late seeing this thread, but yes that is a very nice job of making/installing the new seatcovers. Nice materials selection as well!

I'm having my '65 NYer seats redone soon, using some NOS Chrysler fabric I bought from a guy on ETSY. SMS wanted an arm and leg for the factory material, and the ETSY guy had enough cloth for a '67 NYer in a perfect color and at a fraction of the price. I'll post photos. Cheers
