Great work Matt! This is a skill I have always wanted to learn and even bought some equipment years ago. Fortunately I still don't own a car which needs body work.
 
Welding is very satisfying and rewarding!
I definitely understand that. You are making a permanent repair which will put you one step closer to the restoration of a beautiful car.

I need to learn from my cousin he is a farmer and an excellent fabricator. He welds out of necessity but enjoys fabricating tools to make jobs easier.
 
This one was next. After this one is done I can install the big patch I formed with my “American wheel”.

Got the piece in the last post welded in and got a good ways into this one. The forming turned out great. I couldn’t be happier!!:thumbsup:
