Does anyone make an aftermarket wide-angle passenger side mirror? As we all know, those 1960s passenger mirrors are just about useless.

This would be for a 1966 Chrysler 300. Perhaps even a round stick-on mirror of the exact same size?

Is it round? Where have you looked so far?

I looked around for some sort of convex round mirror and all the stick on "accessory" type mirrors were too convex.... Too small a radius for the convex is the way to describe it. The area that's visible in the mirror is small and really not good for traffic.

If you look at modern car right mirrors, the convex shape has a larger radius and is a lot more useful.

My neck is fused from C5-C7 so cranking my head around is a little tough and I'd love to find something that I could use. I'd like to figure out how to cut down a mirror from a modern car to the size of the round stock mirrors on my cars.

I've got a round stick-on mirror for my '66 that's a little smaller than the original mirror. It makes the mirror "slightly" more useful than without it, but not much. It still serves as more of a "go-nogo" device, where if you see something, it's a vehicle and if you see nothing it's probably clear. The fish-eye effect allows me to see all of the vehicle rather than just a portion of it, but it's so small and warped, I still can't really tell what it is.

Sorry to not be more helpful.

Ebay has a whole bunch of these mirrors from various sellers, these will come up when you search classic car door square mirror or something like that. Shop around because some of them can be as much as half the price of other sellers for the exact same thing. This one might work for your car because your mirror mounting spots already make the mirrors kind of jut out towards the sides of the car, so you might be able to actually see down the sides which will make parallel and reverse parking significantly easier.

The other type I can think of that might improve visibility is this mirror:

It's got flat glass, but it's somewhat rectangular shaped and has more area. The main thing about this one (as far as I can tell from the pics) is that you can adjust the arm to different angles - you might be able to rotate it so that it sticks out past the side of the car, giving you a lot more visibility, and making reverse and parallel parking significantly easier. I know on 67-68 Furys where the mirrors are mounted cause them to be angled inboard of the car, you can't see down the sides of the car at all with them.
These have a white plastic frame around the actual mirror glass itself which to me at least, just looks weird:

I think you could actually swap the mirror heads between the first type and these (both are attached to the arm with a phillips screw) so you get the nice look of the first mirror heads, with the adjustability of the latter type.

Dan, i’ve been thinking the same thing for sometime. I LOVE the wide angle right mirror on my VW. I want to look into obtaining a replacement glass that I can cut into the round shape of the right mirror on my 62 300. Then simply use two sided. emblem tape to attach it to the existing mirror. I would like to have these on the left and right! I’m going to talk to my glass company on Monday and ask them if there is a way to cut the mirror glass to shape.
I’ll let you know what I find……

Here’s a thought:

The 1980’s Omni/Horizon four-doors had optional convex mirrors (at least according to the 1980 Horizon brochure) and their glass is round. Don’t know how the size compares, though.

Yes, round.
Well, if they are 4.25" diameter, these may be what you need.
I looked on Amazon under "round convex mirror" and found some other sizes that appeared to be automobile replacements. It took some scrolling.
Hope this helps you out.
Cheapest I found was Rockauto, @$17.01, but I didn't look at any shipping.
The Burco mirrors have many sellers on the web.

$23.35 on Amazon. Probably about the same once you figure in shipping.

I'll have to measure my mirrors!

Some people bad mouth Amazon, but living in a rural area as I do, it is a Godsend. I can find things I need without driving 1 hour + to get to a city.
I can get to town in 10 minutes, but its Wal-Mart, A couple of auto parts stores, or Tractor Supply.
Then there's time and miles looking for the item.
I'm about an hour from Rochester, about 2 from Buffalo or Syracuse, shopping from my chair, and I'll have it to my door in a day or two.
