Hey guys,
I have what I believe to be one of the most documented Chrysler 300s in existence. This is a factory 413/3 speed manual that was purchased new by Jack and Anne Armstrong. The car was meant to be a daily driver for fun, but after a little street racing they decided to hit Detroit Dragway. They won their first race in their class and caught the attention of the Golden Commandos. Through their friendship, they acquired a real S/S Hemi scoop, a 426 max wedge, and in 1963, ran a 426 Hemi before it was available to the public. This car ran 11.23 @ 123mph in the quarter mile and was presumed to be the fastest 300 in the country. The car has also been inducted into the drag racing hall of fame and has been featured in Mopar magazine, MCACN in Chicago, the Detroit free press, and other news publications. I have owned hundreds of classics, and let me tell you, I have never felt this kind of presence from a car. I honestly think it belongs in a museum. It has 35,000 original miles and the restoration is gorgeous. The car now has a balanced and blue printed 440 and the 3 speed was swapped out for a 4 speed It runs and drives like a DREAM, it might be one of the nicest 4 speeds you will ever drive. Asking 65k

Denielle sold it???

Car looks great. What was the carburetion on the original 413, single 4 or dual 4?

The body tag "fender tag" is from a 1990 Dodge cargo van, and idea where the correct one is?

What a correct 1962 Chrysler 300 "Sport" Convertible build tag looks like (with 413, 3 speed manual transmission).

I just noticed that. Looks like after talking to the owners, it’s possible that the body shop accidentally put the wrong tag on the car during restoration.

Ah, so you’re selling it for Denielle.

I realize this is a great car with racing history and we are lucky to see it for sale here but please take the comments and chit chat to a separate thread or a DM. The seller is new here so let's show him some respect.
