Another V-Code ‘70 Fury Surfaced?

Assuming the yellowed chrome cap is original and the others looked like that to begin with, How did you get those caps to shine up so nice?

Looking great!

Thank you Sir.

The chrome on the towers is pretty bad,....but with effort and patience sometimes it will look good enough for a driver, which this car is.

I use a variety of jewelry metal polishing compounds and special jewelry cloths.

But just give it a wack with 0000 bronze wool and your favorite compounds. Don't use steel wool, unless you have to.

Keep.it as clean as you can, wash degreased, scrub, re clean....start polishing slowly with successive "grit" compounds. Clean again then again, and polish again using a higher "grit" compound. Clean agian...repete until you are nauseous....hand rub it out with chrome polish as a final...buff by hand with appropriate clean cloth.

On chrome that is this pitted, do not use a polishing wheel, or buffer, it will make it worse guaranteed.

Looks fantastic Trev! Get your motor painted as well?

That car needs a nice master cylinder or at least a correct appearing lid ;)

Quick short about current progress, full video Saturday on the last minute assembly. Goes in the transporter tomorrow to Chicago. @Fury Pursuit and all the team at Rocket have been working VERY long days to get this one buttoned up for MCACN! Even @hergfest chipped in and got the interior down from the attic this week.
