Wow.... I really like that.

A hood shouldn't be that hard to find and I'll bet you know someone that could paint it to match. :poke:

My Dad bought a '63 Newport brand new at the end of 1962... So 63 years ago this month. I remember riding down with my Mom to pick it up as my Dad was working, so it was probably between Christmas and New Years because I was out of school.

As a matter of fact I do! :icon_fU: This car is really tempting me because it's so clean. I guess I can't use the standard Stan @commando1 excuse because it's NOT too far and It's NOT too much money! :poke:

It is very clean but I hate to admit that 63-64 were my least favorite years.
I have to agree with you on that. If it was any other year before or after It'd be already sitting in my driveway. On the other hand I met my wife because she was driving a 64 Newport.

Guesswin, not sure if that’s spelled right but most will know, had a 1963 300 pace car I looked at for a long time but could not get myself to buy it. He some really nice cars several tears back!

I don't see any evidence of an engine compartment fire.....

Strange occurance - I'm interested to find out what's up with the non-hood.

It sold in Sacramento then lived in Placerville, CA. Foothills of the Sierra - warm and dry climate.

They have grown on me. I didn't like them, but they are soooooo different than anything else.

To me the '63-'64 Chryslers were very odd. Post Exner, but they don't really reflect Engle's vision in '65 either. About the only thing I like is the dash layout with the round gauges. You can try to flip it, but I've seen these sit around Marketplace and Ebay for a long periods of time.

Apparently it's already sold. Just as well, I've got my hands full with my Imperial and customer work.
