l like it..its different and well done...who ever ends up with it is gona have a hoot

That is one nice looking ride with a few subtle mods that look great. And not to over the top.

And I don't see anything to warn an unsuspecting soul besides the little "HP" on the hood. Serious sleeper action going on!

Remember this car on Moparts four years ago? A rust free $ 2,500 car on a mid west corner that no one wanted.
Enter the current owner that bought it as a winter beater. He took so much heat for that thought he reconsidered and the end result is what you see.
He did a nice job, but I don't like the color bumpers

Very nice. I'm with you Dave I like it a lot but I think it would a lot better with original chrome bumpers instead of the painted ones and single floor mat would be better the cutting up that one. I can't comment on price but I really like it. He did execute the small changes pretty well like the tach and police speedo.

I agree on the bumpers otherwise looks very nicely done. I remember the magazine feature on it last year I think.

You are correct Matt. It was the Jan 2014 issue but probably hit the stands and post boxes in Oct or Nov since they put them out waaay early.

There's some shots of the article in the CL ad .. he appears to have a sense of humor.

yes, I remember it, too.
Liked the car like it was, as a slightly patina survivor.
I gave him some fire, too for driving it in the winter

I don't like the painted bumpers and stripes.
I do not like the repaint.

I really like sleepers. Nothing is better than driving a cosmetically worn out car and being fast

Best way to lose money unless you're doing it for keeps.

I think it's a very cool car. I prefer chrome bumpers too!

He must drive it pretty conservatively.....8.75 axles don't get along well with A833 txsm's and the stout engine (440-6 w/915 heads, cam, etc) if you are hammering it hard. I would of put a Dana 60 with Strange axles with 4.10's in her to bulletproof it.

Very damn cool! Nice colors, great stance, and the wheelcovers are perfect on this one. I, too, would prefer A/C, but that is something that could be added onto the car.

The alert from the auction site arrived in my inbox overnight and I wasn't sure whether I should mention it here or not but I see someone beat me to it. This is a very neat car. Like Dave I would prefer chrome bumpers and personally I wish he had kept it with a TorqueFlite on the column but I love it otherwise.
