Not very practical but very cool!!
Very true, Love the old radials and I couldn't cut up an old plymouth pick up either, maybe just on a test stand or

That takes some sack!! That car is pretty rare here, more so the case on Finland! Hats off to the builder! It was built by Petri Hälvä in Finland. Iirc, it was sold to Denmark and again to Sweden where it is nowadays.
Rare car, yes. But back in the nineties, you couldn't give those cars away. That takes some sack!! That car is pretty rare here, more so the case on Finland! Hats off to the builder!
That's pretty sweet!!! How many cars did he build? Or were most just drawn! That rendering feels very familiar btw!Sketch done by my father in the 60's, it was later realized in scale on a 58 T-Bird. I have the model but will need to do a little restoration before it is presentable.

He did many customs in the 50's and later, I always felt his calling was auto design not arcitecture but was probably more of a risk at that time.

Lots of models, many didn't survive over the years. The bubble topic the sketch is a backwards Lincoln Futura (aka Batmobile). For the last four months I have been digging and clearing trash, we are just now getting to the point where we can go through the hobby boxes. I have found some of the more recent ones. As I can organize I'll be sharing. That's pretty sweet!!! How many cars did he build? Or were most just drawn! That rendering feels very familiar btw!

Looks like a lot of time, effort, money and work that didn't pan out to well.
I'd prefer a 48 Caddy series 62.
That one belonged to Rita Hayworth.Agreed, Someone wanted it just like it is. In checking out ghia cars today, Id prefer a 1953 series 62 like this.

I'm not one to preach... but that sounds like a car that should not have been cut up.Here's a phenomenal 39 olds that I got to see at the Detroit Autorama. Truly one of the most beautiful cars I think I've seen !View attachment 94678View attachment 94680Heres a link to a Hemings article on the car.

Considering the rarity of it,couple that with the fact that olds says they never made it , I can agree with that statement John. Ya gotta admit tho, it is a great looking car!!I'm not one to preach... but that sounds like a car that should not have been cut up.
