Examples of F8 with Paint mixing code used?

The auto body supply store that sells paint will have the formula by giving them the paint code.

Dupont # is 4988. I usually use PPG's basecoat but with this color Duponts formula was a much better match to the original.
 
The gold tone for the 300 Hurst is missing, but that was supposed to be a Cadillac color.:)
 
Had the color analyzed and it turned out a late 80s Mercedes color is also a perfect match.

Yup, Cadillac Sauterne metallic code 64 was the colour. Considering the following these cars have- it never ceases to amaze me how many of them are restored with the wrong colour on them.

Your kidding? The last photo is probably the most common tone I see on these. What you say is the original color I probably never see.
