I couldn't believe a K-kar couldn't be any worse until they sawed the roof off.
Chrysler's decision to do that brought the rag-top back into production, and Chrysler held 54% of the total market for over 8 years. Not a bad decision at all!

As for this particular car, I wish my wife would let me have it. Sweet little car!

If any of you looked at the CL post, I had mentioned the trunk struts were shot and I had ordered them from Rockauto. The were 10 bucks each and looked identical to the factory ones! Trunk stays open now and you don't have to be a body-builder to open it!

I couldn't believe the price. I had an '84 Mercury with a single strut; it went out too. I reverend replaced it because it cost close to a hundred bucks. A stick was free! However, out of curiosity I looked to see if they listed the "lift support" for that car. Yes, and the top of the line strut is just... 14 bucks! Where were these prices when I owned that car? A friend had the same car only an '82; she used a stick too! How things have changed!
