I'm still here

Guess what guys...I'm still here and I'm done!!!! Car is only worth around 20K but I've put 60 K into it, trying to keep it original. Some asswipe stole the passenger seat and back seat that I already had done from the warehouse. I've called most of the car clubs to ask for assistance in finding the seats. Yes, I WANT the seats that sat my happy lil butt down on them when I was a kid. Yup, backseat has my DNA on it when I was a teenager...not going there. Now as a menopausal woman...I'm pissed that someone thought they can take something that isn't there's. If I ever get my hands on that thief....well.... Ok, gonna slow down for a bit. I'm sure most of you that know me, know what lengths I've gone through for "original". Most of you would be as upset if someone took your "car" stuff. I'll keep my self in "check", as my retired army hubby tells me. But for f*** sake...I'm still pi****.

Marian: This whole seats thing really sucks, but it sounds like somebody's insurance ought to kick in here to replace them.

Someone should be responsible...but one would say.."prove it". I have no proof...such as life...real issue is being able to find replacement. That's the hard part.
 
I have a set, but two issues - they're in bad shape and would need all new foam and all, as well as new covers as they're tan; and second they're under about 4-5 feet of snow right now, at least the car they're in is....... Oh yeah, third issue is shipping.. If you can work a deal with straightarrow I think he's in OK which is damn near driving distance from KS.

For reference, red arrow shows approx location of Monaco parts car, blue arrow shows visible roof/windshield corner of a Polara parts car. Photo about a month old, another foot of snow with some strong winds since so it's deeper now.

IIRC it was a male pinup model pic to please female members that eventually was Catering more towards an alternate Group as later found out.

OK, Marian sounds like a rare lady with her head glued on straight. I wouldn't mind a picture of her in the Mrs. Santa Claus outfit. (The over 45 one).

Trust me I do understand. Life has a way of putting the passion for our cars on hold, why do you guys think it has taken me thirteen years on mine. Also finding parts for a 50 years old car can drive you crazy, Then to have someone steal things from it, I do get the rage. Carry on Dear Marian, we guys would love to have more like you in the hobby.
 
Just reading this and it totally sucks that someone would steal a rear seat...
 
Shoot. I'm relatively new here but have watched you progress since I joined. You've done an amazing job!
