Southern Motors won’t buy junk. The drivetrain will be solid when it goes up for sale. Their cars are ready to cruise right out the door. Almost bought a 70 RR from them complete with dad’s hood a few years ago.
Nobody forgets that. But I could care less about their costs. These flippers have priced many people out of the hobby, just sayin.Yes of course , how many people are working there , they have a lot of costs…..
People forget that…!!
Numerous folks said that car was a bargain, so I'm mostly just curious what people would say this one is worth. If as nice as that one picture, surely $30k, but I also think general consensus would be that it is only worth $20k...Based off the 1 picture it sure looks like a nice car but I have no idea what the rest of the car looks like, original interior, correct manifolds, air cleaner blah blah. Assuming it’s been restored or kept with originality in mind - I think it has room to grow, based on it being a convertible, a 300, and especially if it’s a very nice example.
If a base mode Slabside Chrysler, with the base engine, crank windows and other lowly options can fetch 20k, surely a 300 vert in equal shape can equate.

Flipper stealerships try to average a gross profit of around 25%. If they can sell it for 24k within a year, that's beating the S&P by 5,000%.I’m predicting a $30k ask by next week.
See what happens if one doesn't proof ones post before hitting reply? You mean 5%, not 5000, right?
But now it has Truecoat!Exact same car. Title change. Car price increases. Exact same car.

Oh please!
Quick flip, money in the pocket, and all they have to do is a quick detailing after they tow it home. Not bad for a day at the car show.Southern Motors site says pending. They already had a buyer who was looking for this kind of car.Southern Motors
I'm sure Southern Motors didn't pay the $19,500 Carlisle price. I bet it's considerably less especially in cash. But it'll be on their lot for more than $20k.
Yeah, if I could do that once in awhile it would allow me to further save the cars I have - would some brethren still assume I was a bad person?Free enterprise, nothing wrong with it
