I had heard about an MGB that was sitting in a garage for about 6+ years now and it was mine for the taking
It was the classic wife telling me to come over and get it although her husband owned the car
There was no way in the world I would do this without the consent of the husband so the car sat until this past weekend when I had the help of a long time car friend and the nod from the owner to come over with a trailer and the car was mine

I’m not quite sure what to say or do with this car since I don’t really have the back to sit in this right now let along drive it
I’m certainly not looking a gift horse in the mouth

I’m grateful still all the same
It’s not everyday a car is given to anyone if they aren’t family or friends
It’s actually not too bad condition and had love during its life until about 7+ years ago
It just needs some TLC to get back on the road

I was wondering what was going to take Betty's place...
It wasn’t something I would have went out and purchased
I gave up my Bug Eye Sprite for the same reason
Lower back issues...

I’ll likely tinker with it and roll it into something that is roadworthy in a full sized Mopar or late 60’s Swept-line

Seriously
I need to come up with a way to raise this tin can off the ground so I can work on it at a comfortable height

Nice! I've had my '72 for years and love it. Get it up on some Jack stands. That'll help. Your rubber bumper car is about 4" higher than my '72 just because of the federal crash guidelines. I feel your pain...
A midrise lift would be even better. Good luck with it. You can't beat the price!
Moss Motors will have about everything you'll need, if you didn't already know of them.
