replacing tail light bulbs in 66 T&C?

Anyone have experiance changing the tail lights on a 66 T&C. Seems impossible to get the lens off without having to take the tail gate trim off first which is a difficult process that involves getting access to the inside of the tail gate.

I have a 68 T/C and if I remember correctly the bulbs come in through the back of the housings...been a few years since I had to replace tailight bulbs though. So wouldn't surprise me if you have to go in through the tailgate to replace a bulb.

Man... I'm having the same issue. All 4 screws out of lens , tailgate open, 2 more screws.... tugged on the loose lens, feels like it's ready to go... but there's another "something" holding it??
