1966, Chrysler Newport (not New Yorker) Persian white and blue interior; new paint, original color Great driving car at 133,613 miles Engine: 383 cu. inch, white wall radial tires Excellent interior, new state inspection Working convertible Antique car

Ambitiously-priced, looks like a nice Newport droptop. Facebook is the only thing that tops eBay in terms of unrealistic pricing, among other things...….

Chrysler Newport (not New Yorker)

Since he seems to know that, why list it as a New Yorker??

Since the seller has pointed out that it's not a New Yorker in the ad itself, I think it's likely that Newport isn't on the list of model names that Marketplace lets you choose from.

Not that I've checked, but I would find that hard to believe. If it is so, just list it as a Chrysler, forget the model name.

When I first saw this my immediate reaction was, "There is no such thing as a '66 New Yorker ragtop." Second thing I thought was, "The guy wants people to look at his ad who would not look at a Newport." Is it possible?

I just checked. Make and Model are freeform text fields, so it looks like there's no reason why they could not have put Newport.
