    Seat upholstery L2B3

I over ordered because I didn’t know. Here’s the full thread. Post #83 has the quantity for bench seats (68 Polara). Order a yard or more extra in case of screw ups. Epic 68 Polara bench seat rebuild for originality Front and back light grain just over 4 yards so will need 5 yards of the seat...

    My Unicorn, eh?

For D-P Dodge Monaco 500 and D-H Monaco, Show that the cemented in window had a different trim and was available, but seemed to share the same trim P/N's D-L Polara (No D-M Polara 500 in 66?) Has different trim numbers and does not mention cemented in Windows. Nor does it mention any...

    My Unicorn, eh?

Looking at the 66 parts book. It seems it could have been a by factory thing. Weather strip 23-63-112, Rear window 23-64-314. Both styles were offered for Dodge, Plymouth and Newport. The windows are different part numbers. But there is no indication of when one or the other was used. The...

    My Unicorn, eh?

I don’t know 66 as well as 68, but in 68 2 dr was glued in and 4 doors had the seal. I found this when looking for a nonexistent gasket for my rear window. I learned from the parts book, comparing the rear windows in 68. In this case could it be a Canadian thing? I know @Polara_500_Jr has a...

Plug n play headlight harness upgrade

Here’s the schematic for the head light relay’s, these may be a little different if you have headlight doors. 68 Dodge Polara I used the factory color and codes for my wiring and labels on the schematic. L4 is the circuit. 16V* is 16 gauge Violet wire with tracer. See color code on schematic.

Plug n play headlight harness upgrade

You keep mentioning the dimmer switch. Was only one relay installed for the low beams and no relay for high beams? You should have two relay’s, one for low beam and one for high beam. (sorry if I didn’t read far enough back if this was already covered) Also dimmer switches after years of full...

    How's The Weather?

Garage addition time this week in Fargo. The weather much better than working in 10 -15 degree weather, which isn’t bad if the wind isn’t blowing. Hopefully set my trusses by the end of the week, a maybe sheathing next week. Stripping off the siding today to start tying in my final walls tomorrow.

New garage / shop lights, what would you recommend/use?

In my 24x24 current portion prior to expansion I have 6-BR 40 can lights ranging from 100 W to 150W equivalent (yes different bulbs). I don’t mind the 150W equivalent. But cans alone were not enough so I have 4 of the older Costco 48 Leds hung around the edges which make a huge difference. They...

New garage / shop lights, what would you recommend/use?

Yes white would help. I do have silver tin on the bottom as carsideing that maybe helps somewhat, but it seems most of my walls are covered by tools and shelves. My walls are a light tan. I don’t like dirty white walls. This is kind of my man cave/workshop, so didn’t go for the sterile white.

@sixpkrt Tim, I am adding this over in my lighting page so I can find it again.

What are you working on today??

Thanks Tim, by the way way I am down in Franklin TN right now now visiting my daughter. I am enjoying the high 60’s and low 70’s. A nice break from Fargo weather. My wife thinks we should find a rental for a month or two next winter down here. But am heading back to the cold and snow Tuesday...

New garage / shop lights, what would you recommend/use?

I am just starting my electrical plan. I am also questioning the power of these lights reflected to the ground. The Hyperlite site has the ufo and 4 ft lights. They also provide recommendations on lighting if you provide your plan outline and ceiling heights. I only sent it yesterday, so will...

New garage / shop lights, what would you recommend/use?

These give great light, but maybe a little extra. Also not sure of the durability. Also only about 6 year life at 12 hours a day. So maybe 10-12 years for me. It should cut down on shadows.

New garage / shop lights, what would you recommend/use?

I will be doing all work. Small restorations, upholstery…. Some of my challenge will be that when my car is on the lift, it will block some of the light. With your flat ceiling it looks like you have one set centered in the middle and another 2 on the edges. My lift would be positioned closer...
