    It’s a 0.78 overdrive ratio. It can be used in any gear except reverse. I have the computer and speed sensor to set it up for automatic shifting but I just used a toggle switch on the dash to engage and disengage it.

    Thanks, that does help. I need to replace the speedometer and headlight switch so I’ll be part way there at least. It is an A/C car unfortunately. Do you need to remove the steering column or wheel?
