I bought a set on ebay that said it would fit 383,,,,they do NOT fit the mounting hole needs to be deeper into the valve cover......does anyone know a correct part # (I bought Spectre Performance #5321 NO good)

why is your kickdown spring pulling backwards & the next illustration shows it pulling forward ??? why is your picture showing the kickdown rod being pulled backward & the repair manual showing it being pulled forward ??

Just bought this car.....where should the kickdown rod connect should it be on the carburetor pivot point or on the lower hole in carburetor linkage AorB ???? right now it's just laying there hooked to nothing & shifting way too soon
