Well well well. The Power Tour is in the Rust belt this year!

I am planning on longhauling. This is a bucket list dream of mine. With it being so close, I have to!

Thanks for the info. I might have to consider this year. My parents did the power tour many times in a 1930 model A Ford roadster but I have not. This one is so close to home I might try to make it this year.

This sounds interesting, but if I signed up for everything I wanted to do this summer I’d be living my car from late May through mid July.
I can see me telling my wife. Hey now that I’m retired (June 6) I am going to jump in my car for a month and hit a couple of events, you can come if you want.

Yesterday I bought a ticket to the Joliet portion of the power tour. Since this is my first year participating I figured I’d just go for one day to see how it works.
I live near Bloomington Illinois and was considering getting up early and driving to Indianapolis to caravan with other C bodies to Joliet on the morning of the 10th. If anyone would be willing to let me be part of their group just give me a time and a place and I’ll be there.
