Need a reman power break booster- 66

Can anyone suggest where we could purchase a remanufactured power break booster for a 66 Newport.? Too far out of time frame if we order from Cardone, not in stock. We’ve tried other online sites- trying to avoid a rebuild kit. Thoughts? Thanks.

You've discovered what is out there. C-body Chryslers do NOT enjoy the same parts sales volumes as older Chevies or similar, so no units "on the shelf" for immediate sales, like when those cars were less than 10 years old, normally. Maybe some Mopar-only vendors might have one? WHICH booster do you have? Midland-Ross, Bendix, of Kelsey-Hayes?

You’ll need to get yours rebuilt. Be prepared to wait …
I have the 1967 and up Bendix 9 inch single diaphragm booster and I sent it to power brake exchange in San Jose California. It took eight weeks for them to find a suitable core since mine had a part inside that was broken and not easily replaceable. I did get my exact booster back, but they went through probably three or four different cores to find the nylon part inside that had broken that is not found in the kit.
