Factory 4-Speed-C-Body-Photo-Thread

Nicely optioned! With the state of the trim in the interior, I would guess that car was stored in a damp location for a long time... lots of pitting. This would leave me to wonder about the state of the body underneath and at places where the paint and primer were thin originally... and things like wiring terminals and other such concerns.

We've discussed this single-snorkel car on here sometime in teh past.

The upper doorpanel upholstery is not factory, it should have vertical heat-sealing on it. Or maybe stitching, I don't remember.
But at least stitching would better emulate correctness.
As would spending $250 for the correct air cleaner. And far less for a set of 1965 wheelcovers.
I cannot help but notice when 'restorers' miss the big things.

This is all I'm going to say about this one.

† Odometer Reads simply indicates the number currently shown on the vehicle's odometer.

Oh wait I lied, what the hell attacked the shift knob?

Those 'gurus' should've told you that?

Is it triple-black if it doesn't have a black VT?

Regardless, black interior isn't terribly rare, so it's really just the pairing with black exterior. (as Dick Landy said)

But IMHO, even if it is 1 of 3/4 built, it's not really all that special.
440, or silver/red or some other 'interesting' color combo, would make it more 'special', regardless of how many were built.
This one doesn't really 'pop' with eye appeal - and certainly not with all the flash-rust it has.
The gurus line came from the original ad. I just reread that.
