1967 Imperial Master Cylinder, Fire Wall Rubber Flap, Canister Back of Engine

A. I am having trouble finding a master cylinder for my 1967 Imperial. No common vendors (Advance, Auto Zone, O'Reilly) have one. Does anyone rebuild them? Could I rebuild one myself? Are kits available?
B. Does any vendor make the little rubber flap that is attached to the middle of the fire wall?
C. What is the purpose of the small black round canister that is attached to the back of the 440 engine?

If your car has front disk brakes, look for DYNAMIC FRICTION 35539013 or CENTRIC 13063047. Those have a flip-wire to hold the cover on. The MC for drum-brake cars have a bolt-on cover, there are different P/N for those.

For the firewall flap, go to detroit muscle technologies website and search for 2167001. It says it's only for 62 - 65 but it's also correct for up to 68.

Don't know about the canister.

Isin't the trunk vacuum can always in the passenger side front fender? Interesting that the Imperial has vacuum operated parking brake release, did not know that. Seems like a trivial thing to convert to a powered function.

In 67 was disk brakes an option for the Imperial, or was it "standard" (that you could nonetheless un-check that box for a few hundred off the bottom line) ?
 
Budd disc brakes were the only available system for the Imps in ‘67/8/9.
 
@MoPar~Man, vacuum-operated parking brake releases were common in the 1960s. before electric solenoids for such came into being. Less expensive. "For-real" electric parking brakes did not happen, OEM, until the 2000s.

Some OEM luxury brands also had vacuum power door locks, as they were quieter, too.

We're talking about a power version of the pull-handle that's under the dash? The same handle that what, all auto-trans cars have had for the past 30, 40 years? To release a parking brake that the vast majority of it's life never gets used?

Did the Imperial also have power versions of the under-dash pull handles for the kick-panel intake vents?
