    Brake issue. Master cylinder?

Is it possible the proportioning valve is bad? I pulled all the drums, no leaks. Only leak seems to be from the one chamber over flowing.

    Brake issue. Master cylinder?

Just came back from probably the final drive before I park Rosie for the winter. Rosie is my 67 Fury III convertible. She has 4 wheel power drum brakes. About 2 blocks from home the brakes felt weird, and the pedal had a long stroke before anything happens. So I popped off the cover for the...

    Convertible Seat Coverings?

I have a 67 Fury convertible I revived and just got on the road. The seats are trashed, but not in the budget to have them recovered yet. So I bought a set of cheap Amazon seat covers. They don’t look too bad for now. But it is a temporary solution. The original seat covering is vinyl. And to...

    Now what do I do?

So I thought I’d do the responsible thing and check the differential fluid. I guess I didn’t have the drive all the way in the hole and the plug broke. But I didn’t expect it to be so fragile. I thought it would be iron, not some sort of cast. So now what? I could probably mangle it more and...

    What key?

I have a 67 Fury III convertible. It came with one set of keys. But I’m not sure I have the “right” type of ignition key. I expected a Pentastar shaped key like this. I thought this style of key started 65-67ish But the keys I got look like this… Are these correct for 67 Fury? Or are my...

    Stalls when warm. Electrical?

In a word, no. After replacing everything in the fuel system ( so I thought) and checked all the electrical, it turned out to be something stupid. I had a new carb, new pump, all new lines and a new tank, what could it be? Turns out my new tank I got, new, never installed I was told. And it...

    Stalls when warm. Electrical?

Thank you to everyone who gave their thoughts and opinions. You all were a great help, even if it was just to confirm I wasn’t going crazy. As you can guess by the picture, my problem was fuel related. I figured I replaced everything in the fuel system. So it couldn’t be that. I went through...

    Stalls when warm. Electrical?

Running completely stock 67 Fury , 383 distributor with points and condenser. But I think I figured out the problem, I’ll post below.

    Stalls when warm. Electrical?

Tried that last night. Made no difference. But I think I figured it out. I’ll post below.

    Fuel line routings

I dropped the exhaust and looked inside. The valve had been removed at some point. So it wasn’t an issue.

    Stalls when warm. Electrical?

When it dies, I did check for spark from the coil wire and from a plug wire. There is spark. Not sure if it is weak or not. Can only confirm there is spark.

    Stalls when warm. Electrical?

Sorry. I forgot to add that I did put a new tank and sending unit in too. As well as all new lines from the tank all the way to the carb.

    Stalls when warm. Electrical?

Yep. New points and condenser. Thanks. I love the car too. Just wish I can drive it more than a few blocks.

    Stalls when warm. Electrical?

...not. Some helped a little. Seems to be a collection of little problems I’m eliminating as I go, but still stalls) New timing chain and water pump *edit* new gas tank and sending unit as well as all new lines from tank to carb. New cap, rotor, plugs, wires, points and condenser New...

    Fuel line routings

Ok just to close this thread, rerouting my fuel line and covering it with heat shielding did not fix the problem. Checking wiring revealed some burnt wires. Replaced them, and the alternator. No real change. Turned out the idle screws to make it run richer, idled better, but still stalls when...

    Fuel line routings

Update of sorts. After someone mentioned the exhaust manifold heat valve I checked mine. No counter weight or spring on it, and it is seized. No idea in what position though. So I guess next step is drop the exhaust and look inside.

    Fuel line routings

I appreciate your experience and observations. Especially with electrical stuff, which isn’t my strong suit. I do have a new negative cable, new battery, and new cable ends on the battery. I did clean all the contacts on the bulkhead connections and the starter relay. But the positive cable is...

    Fuel line routings

Sorry, I guess I wasn’t very clear. At idle, eventually it will just die. Rpm’s drop slightly, then nothing. When I drive it, I have a circuit around my neighborhood. I can do almost 2 laps. Every time it dies in the same spot. I have replaced the coil, but I will check it next time it dies...

    Fuel line routings

I did check voltage at the coil, (12v ish, which I thought was high which lead me to the ballast resistor. But it wasn’t under load) and I pulled plug wires checking for spark after it died. Seemed fine.

    Fuel line routings

I also have done this. Originally when I got the car it didn’t have one, and I figured that was the problem. The car had been neglected a long time. I keep finding things wrong, or parts not quite right, and I fix them hoping it will solve the problem. (timing chain was sloppy, carb leaked...
