Need advice on parting with my '72 New Yorker 2 door

Hi Everyone, I am hoping you can give me some advice as I need to say goodbye to my '72 NY CH23T2C254070. I will be relocating far away in a few months and am not taking the car with me. The first piece of advice I'd like to ask is what would be a reasonable price to ask and the second piece of...

65 New Yorker, first project car

Duplicate what is on the 1967 models, which were the frist ones with the dual reservoir master cyl. Same booster, bolt on, just need the plumbing items.

    Wheel Bearing & Seal Numbers

Well got it all together, with the shims that were in it .092, yikes. Took all the shims out and only got to .062. Probably not the right thing to do but I had a pile of carrier bearing shims from various Dana rear ends. One was the perfect size to match the race of the wheel bearing. So I...

Transmission leaking when car is jacked up from front

I do see the orange lip of the seal. I'll have to get a better look when I jack it up next to confirm where the leak is coming from. It does leak quite a bit when I have the front jacked up. I went back to the shop that did the rebuild to address another leak that was coming from the pan last...

NOT MINE 1960 Chrysler 300f $1 Listed 3 days ago in Omaha, NE

Based on the pics, very good looking car. Are the vents on top of the dash an option that came with this model?

Transmission leaking when car is jacked up from front

Only the manual trans in a '65 Chrysler had the ball and trunnion. This car will have a slip yoke with a single front U-joint. Some '65 cars will have a double front U-joint, but still have the slip yoke.

Maybe they forgot the tail shaft seal, or it damaged putting the driveshafts in. Alan

64 Imperial auto pilot weight creating larger holes in fender!!!

Hey everyone sorry for the late response. Yes I have all 3 brackets and I did drill where the dimples were. I used bolts with washers and lock  washers on them to hold it. The guy I bought it off of originally gave me instructions for it. Based on what everyone is saying I'm assuming if there...
