    The Hurst Registry

Manny, I might be a bit confused on 230943. I assume you're talking about the New Orleans car (and not the Finland car). And is "he" the seller in the ad?

My New (to Me) 73 Imperial LeBaron

I can only ask. Very impressive mileage on that car!

    Favorite Fuselage Imperial

The Crown model had the big window and the LeBaron model had the smaller window. The Crown model was only offered in 1969 and 1970, and represented only about 12 % of the total sales in 69-70, and was therefore discontinued after the 1970 model year. That is why you rarely see fuselage years...

    Bastardized 1959 "Coronet" build

I have thought about that on occasion when I see these Exner beauties lowered all the way around. I'd have to mess with the stock Corvette suspension to lower it. Maybe air bags some day?? In the meantime, I did put ridiculous rake on the car on purpose.

    1969 polara noisy engine fan

There is def. a clutch there, it's pretty big. I'll check to see if I can spin the fan, what am I looking for? Should it spin easily?

Plug on ac condenser 69 Polara

Hmm didn't know that it didn't come that way, probably explains why I can't find the plug :)

    No title bill of sale

There needs to be a national standard for this problem. Some states don't need titles for cars over 25 years old, some states do. Beware if you live in Missouri, those folks won't cut you a break. It's a common thing in the old car hobby to have "open" titles. Don't do it; don't accept a...

    1969 polara noisy engine fan

If any Chrysler w/factory a/c runs hot in that part of the country, it probably needs a radiator re-core and the block water passages cleaned out. To say that in AZ, is a different situation. What does the instrument panel gauge indicate? Enjoy! CBODY67

My New (to Me) 73 Imperial LeBaron

RLL3: Trim - Premium, Leather 3-in-1 Split Bench, Parchment I really like that Tan carpet, dash, column and steering wheel. Looks really good with the white leather and interior top. HL2: Int. Door Frames, Parchment I don't see the Parchment painted frames. Could you post the parchment...

My New (to Me) 73 Imperial LeBaron

Make sure that the Thermoquad is not the original carb. If it is, then have it professionally rebuilt and reinstalled. Or sell it here to someone who needs that date code part.

My New (to Me) 73 Imperial LeBaron

Don't get a new one, have the correct date coded parts that were born on this car rebuilt and reinstalled. There are a few services for both MS and BB.

Progress continues on the renovation. We should be moving into the new part by the end of the month. We should have full capability next week…

    Bastardized 1959 "Coronet" build

i absolutely luv what you are doing on this project. have you considered lowering the assend a couple inches if it is possible? i am trying to picture it with a lower back end. the inside of the rear fender maybe being level with the axle center.

What are you working on today??

Picked up Mel after over 3k in bodywork. A guy pressed in the driver’s side front fender and bumper at an SDSU game. We were in the stadium when it happened. At least he left a note and his insurance paid for everything. The repair looks great.
