    Will this be a problem?

It's there for a reason. Chrysler, GM, or otherwise, they all use one similar to that. Kind of a universal-fit item, but they should be in repro. The motor end just pushes in and locks. What @GOLDMYN mentions could work, too. Just some thoughts, CBODY67

the hose has fallen off a couple of my cars. Glue it around the rim might be a cheap solution

Steering wheel wants to turn right while idling, steering gear adustment or front-end alignment?

I've had that happen before . Loosen the bolts on the fitting the high pressure hose bolts to with the car running and tap it lightly . The front tires will move one way or the other as you tap on it . Stop when it moves to center and tighten back down . Hap .

    Cam selection for a 66 383

Cam selection -- The part that might be an issue is the gross valve lift. Use the valve lift of the old, original Chrysler Purple Shaft 284/284 cam as a guide. Might back-down the lift a bit with similar duration. There's also a Lunati cam that some in here have used in there 383/325 engines...

Got my 66 383 block back from the machine shop

the stock cam did go in freely. the other bearings are dead on. maybe they do that to the front for some reason? I paid IMO alot of money that should have covered all the bases. I haven't got a new cam yet I been doing research to make sure I get the right one. The lifter and cam failures I see...

    Will this be a problem?

Only of the rubber hose out of place on the floor in front of my passenger seat but on another heating core post it was shown where it was supposed to be. Not sure if it is shown in the service manual but I can check. This is it. it was on another post that I was reading hope I didn't do...

    Another Disc brake question.

I suspect that Chrysler's performance standards go FAR past "normal driving" situations. Which is what most of us normally do. In that case, a drum brake booster can appear to work well, but if in the same situation as the not-normal-use of Chrysler's standards, it would not be as good, which...

Heater fan doesn't work - 1971 Plymouth Fury III

This might not be the case on a 71, but in 68's the fan will not run unless one of the heat/ac buttons is pushed in.

Heater fan doesn't work - 1971 Plymouth Fury III

Did you replace the switched 12 vdc connector back onto the heater module, it's above the terminal with the light green wire difficult to see.

    Will this be a problem?

I recently replaced the heater core in my 67 Chrysler Newport Custom 4 door sedan. It went easier than I expected except for finding the terminal on the Heater Vacuum Switch. It took me days but finally got it and she is working great but...the hose for the blower motor called the Blower Motor...
