Same… it’s as if you want us to think you never take care of it. Not even when you go to sell it.

For sure. Proud to keep the dream alive and well in the family. Found this pic while downsizing for my move. Taken back when the Bird came into the family in ‘77. The Elaine script on the door is

Due to an overseas move the Yellow Bird had to find new home! Sad to see her go, we’ve had an epic 17yrs together, but know she’ll be in great hands. Headed to Puyallup, Washington to live with my cousin. Grandpa would be proud she’s being kept in the family… was his favorite car. Say hi if...

1966 chrysler fuel gauge testing (NOT sending unit)

Is this done on the back for the cluster? I have to pull the cluster it out to access this? Or can be done from the bukhead/motor side? Not familiar. Wiring is not my specialty. Looked this up. Seems like running a 10ga wire from Alt to the the Starter relay, with a 16 or 14ga fusible link...

Couple pics (and instagram screen grabs) from the local Donuts & Drip meetup in Portland last weekend. Mostly Porsche guys and imports, but all are welcome. So it was good to hit them with some old school slab style. The people got a biiiig kick out of the ol' Bird... they hadn't seen anything...

Yeah @carrman! Grandpa Stan was a legend in Ashland, Or. His fleet is what gave me the car bug when I was a kid. Keeping my 2 cars on the road is enough work... can't even image 7 classics. Not in this pic was his prize '49 Buick Roadmaster convertible. Though he always said the Chrysler was...

    Transmission shop in Portland, OR?

Anyone have a good lead on a solid transmission shop in Portland, OR? '65 Chrysler 300 383 3spd automatic Just looking to have it serviced. No idea when it's been done last. Has a good slap when shifting to second. And reverse is real weak. Much better when it's been running a while, but...

    Heater core question

UPDATE*** Took to the shop who said not only is the heater core is leaking, but the control heater box is only half functioning (will switch from dash vents to floor, but not defrost) and needs to be pulled and restored for full functionality. Along with potentially rebuilding/replacing the...

Need to bypass my heater core.

Stellar idea. Unable to pull the core right now but needed to bypass to stop a passenger side footwell drip. This did the trick until the work can begin. Bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013QNJ9SQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Heater core question

Notice since my AC is not running the lines to the Heater Control Valve were removed too... at least I am assuming that's why the lines are missing. Should those be replaced when the heater core work is done? I am not planing on making the AC work again though.

    Heater core question

Worth giving them a call, thanks for the contact. Also realized my heater control valve is also not hooked up at all, coolant lines are missing to/from. Maybe due to the AC system being out of commission?
