    1965 Chrysler Imperial Radiator

Congrats on getting the Imperial. If the radiator is rusty, then the block's water passages are most probably where the rust started. Which can mean the heater core is similar. Might try a rinse of the system to see what's there. Just a rinse with no cleaning agents. Then inspect the core...

    Just had to buy it.

Very cool car. I probably would have bought it also. I have always been a fan of post/coupe body styles. Especially, B Bodies.

Why are magnum center caps so long? (they don't need to be)

It was all about the looks. I personally have always liked the Magnum 500/ road wheels.

Why are magnum center caps so long? (they don't need to be)

So there's one answer. Didn't want to be like Ford OR Ford didn't want to be like Chrysler. Similar but different. A similar thing to the sizes of the wheels used. Chrysler stuck to the 14x5.5, whereas Ford used the 14x6 and 15x7s on their sporty models. The Chrysler 14x5.5 wheels have a...

Why are magnum center caps so long? (they don't need to be)

I didn't know there were shorter caps. The odd time I've searched for them (new/repo or used) they always seemed to be the same (same length) which is what - 3 inches?

NOT MINE 1972 Newport 2dr for sale in Germany (400, GY8)

The ding in the RHS rear quarter is still there and the engine has been painted yellow, so she's not for me. But CM23M2C264747 looks solid. Thank you for the link, absolutely tons of photos at that page -- though not one with a detailed view of the fender tag  Here is the VIN tag.

Some photos for records. They look to have been taken at different places/times. @polara71 will note the New Jersey plates in the first picture below, so perhaps he knows about CM23U0C228762 ?

    Bastardized 1959 "Coronet" build

I made a mock up front panel for a piece of equipment we were developing and used cardboard. I taped a full scale plot of the front panel to it and had a technician wire up the interior harnesses while we waited for the machined front panel.

    The Hurst Registry

Thank you for that information! I just added your discovery of 228762 that was for sale in Germany and I'll post an updated Registry later today. It will include your Poland find from a month ago, 235899, which is still the "newest" car in the Registry. I do not have a 226762, but I do have a...
