How to adjust caster (if indeed you can with stock parts?)

In 2007 Hunter Engineering (they make alignment systems) put out a white paper discussing the math behind measuring caster from camber angles: https://rennlist.com/forums/attachments/928-forum/1317404d1602722988-home-diy-alignment-master-thread-hunter-caster-white-paper.pdf I used their...

    Smoking regulator.

Is it a mechanical regulator or an electronic version? I was just reading the other day about the mechanical regulators smoking when new. Basically burning off a coating on the resistors. I have not experienced this myself, but it did come from a pretty reliable source.

    Looking for a repair manual

The Cadillac/Olds/Buick people have tips and tech for that column. Also, the turn signal switches that mount at the bottom of the column are WAY cheaper to source through that camp than the Mopar version, which is otherwise identical.

All models that carry the c body frame.

The short answer is that the stub frames from 1965 to at least 1970 are practically identical. There are some dimensions on the '65 and '66 frames that differ by 1/16 inch vs the later years. I don't know if it was 1969 or 1970 that the stubs got short extensions on the back for additional...

    Smoking regulator.

Are you are sure your case ground on the regulator is good? I would test it again. If you have a digital Ohm meter you should be able to see less than .5 ohms between the regulator case and neg post on the battery. You shouldn't be getting any smoke. It sounds like it was charging ok on your...

69 Polara, removing tail light lenses

When you get the assy off of the car and the outer lens removed you WILL find "dust" in there. Where did it come from? Look on the bottom part of the lens where it mates to the housing. In that area you will probably find a small "half-circle" that has a white fabric "filter" there. Kind of...
