    1964 M4T interior code

Hi All, I have a '64 300K with the M4T interior code. The problem is that the headliner is that Chrysler light blue-gray perforated. SMS says it should be tan. This car is a 93K mile original one owner until me and I can say that when I pulled the package tray out and pulled the sail back to...

    WANTED Torsion bars wanted

There are a number of makes and models that used the 606 and 507 torsion bars. Some as their base spring and some as the higher rated spring. That is why I asked for the actual spring numbers and not the make-model. Murray does not have any. As far as I know ESPO does not deal in torsion bars...

    A question of rear ends.

I do not plan on towing anything. What concerns me is that a couple of people who have dropped from 3.23 have found that they tend to have to lean into the throttle more and that tends to negate the better mileage from the numerically lower gears. So what I am fishing for are first hand...

    A question of rear ends.

A 1964 300K is about 4400 pounds. I have 14 inch wheels on it with tires at 26.6. That said, I will be going to 15 inch wheels and tires would be 27.6.

    A question of rear ends.

Thank you. I do recognize what you are saying. What i am trying to find out is from people who have tried multiple gears on the same car is what is a good, if such a thing exists, between torque and gas mileage for daily driver - cross country car.

I need to make a decision in the next week on gear ratios for a 1964 Chrysler 300K. Now this car is taking over the daily driving duties, we do not own a "modern" car, from our 1947 Desoto Suburban after 20 years. The wife wants power steering and AC in retirement. The car has 742 factory...

    This Past Weekend's Project...Never Again

I hate to resurrect an old thread, but by any chance did you take any photos of using the Dorman replacements onto the factory regulator? I have a 1964 300-K that I want to replace both front motors and the gear boxes as they are junk. Murray wants $500 for a used motor and gear box! I looked...

    Alternator wiring challenge

I thought I would chime in here as I a have been battling a problem on my 1964 300K. Being well aware of the bulkhead issues, I pulled the connector on both sides and cleaned every connector and applied de-ox to them all. I also removed the factory #12 black wire from the alternator to the...
