    14x7 Supremes

Supremes should work, I've seen them on 68s. Just make sure they aren't Reverse, or else they will rub. They need to be standard offset.

    My Son's First Sled

While it's not a C Body, it's definitely kid approved Seems he's taken quite a liking to the old cars as his dad and Papa have. Now to make sure he stays a Mopar man ! Can't blame him for loving any of the old iron though, here he's sitting in my dad's 1950 Torpedo Back Chevy Fleetline. Any...

    We've lost Locumob - Scott.

Wow, after sometime away from these forums - this is NOT what I wanted to hear. Hit me like a train just now.. Scott was WAY cool, and he and I chatted much throughout my years fixing up my 68. Truly one who always encouraged me to keep going. Going to miss seeing him on the forums:( May he rest...

Tips for a young guy? What’s next?

Don't be like me and try and fix too much at a time, now I'm stuck with mine in pieces! You're off to a good start. These guys are all giving great advice. I'm now going to be 24 y/o, but bought my old girl a month before I turned 19.

For Sale 1968 Chrysler New Yorker $12K Santa Maria CA

Up for Sale OFFICIALLY! My 1968 Chrysler New Yorker project. Selling for a good cause. I know the general consensus here is that I should keep the car. Unfortunately right now in my life this car is more of a weight on my shoulders dragging me down. The positive thing, is selling it helps my...

    How many are left?

Oh yeah, that's my style! Love it. Been building a 68 NY had plans to keep it for my forever car but had my dream car fall into my lap so I'm trying to finish this 68 first to sell it and let someone else do what they want to it!

I sold my ‘68 Sport Fury today

IMO it's worth it to sell and then use the funds for the car you really want! The wife and I have been doing much contemplating but really do want to sell the 68 Chrysler to buy my dream 62. It's already in my reach, and I have had my heart set on a 62 for years now. I love my 68! I would keep...

just finished my 1969 New Yorker

Absolutely incredible! I used to think Fuselage C Bodies were fugly. Now cars like this have me doing a complete 180. I would love to own a 69-70 Chrysler ! This post really makes me want to finish my own 68 project similar to this! She's in pieces now but I'm waiting on my dashboard to be...

Rust Treatment on my Fast Top 68

Well as my life goes, things keep changing more and more! My son Freddie is now 6 months old, and my wife and I just moved into a BIG 2 bedroom apartment. Have to thank God for blessing my family constantly and giving us what we need. I've only done a little bit here and there to the car ever...

Build Card received from Stellantis today :)

Very interesting bits of history and had no idea the car had ties to my hometown / where I still live! Makes me wonder about my NY. I looked up the VIN and it says it was built at Jefferson but it was sold new in Santa Barbara as far as I can tell... makes me wonder if it was really an LA...

Favorite pic of your ride? Let’s see em!

Please do! I’ve always tried to find pics of it but to no avail. Such a coincidence that people across the country and even the world knew of that place which was so close to me. The guy who was selling all these cars on craigslist lives the street over from where my car currently lives. He...

Favorite pic of your ride? Let’s see em!

My 68 NY is from Merkel. A guy close to me was liquidating his “collection” after he passed. These cars were so far gone. My 68 looked nice but was far from it

Favorite pic of your ride? Let’s see em!

Another one of my favorites Namely because she was still complete and not touched yet! Looks so weird on a trailer

    Touch up for chrome

I second the polishing method. Maybe hit the bumper with a clay bar before for a better result too. There’s probably crud wedged into that scratch, then go forward with a metal polish. Should make it look a lot nicer.

    Power Steering Hoses

Another option is Coast Clutch and Break in Santa Maria they can make all these hoses too I believe, not cheap but can be done! Probably what I will end up doing for my New Yorker once I get to that part

    Debating selling mine

I guess it’s not terrible things, however just the harsh reality of being an adult working man providing for his family! Especially living in CA where it’s expensive. Just working hard and when im not, im home watching my son while my wife works (she works days and I work evenings 4-12) - It...

    Uphill climb to the bottom

Going to have to get him some Mopar threads, for when he goes cruisin with his dad in the 68. Already going on 3 months old tomorrow! Trying my hardest not to blink so he doesn’t grow too fast

    Uphill climb to the bottom

Despite the fact that I haven’t touched my 68 in many many months, I’ve still got a feeling I could get it driving by the end of the year! Not going to lie, im worried about letting the engine sit for so long not running as well as the water that was sitting inside the radiator which is...
