1967 Plymouth fury III hazard light question??

I'm not completely sure of this but I always thought that if the car was originally equipped from the factory with things like hazard lights, seat belts etc, then the state inspection would require said items to be present and functional to pass. I know that in 1968, the Plymouth Fury's and I...

    Military Blue

Hi everyone. Does anyone have a picture of a 1968 Imperial in Military Blue? This was the only dark blue in the color chips I was looking at. It doesn't look all that dark, I thought maybe it looked darker on a car. I'm looking for a dark, metallic blue to paint a Valiant, and how cool would...

thanks for the replies. I can get stock shims but I'm 30 over and the stock shim was aready borderline with the bore. I'm afraid a stock shim will hang over. I couldn't see anything in the FSM about service head gaskets or part numbers. The mr gasket ones are huge 4.450 and people say they got...

Lots of small block there for sure. B bodies builds a lot of big blocks but many are for maximum performance and 500 cube strokers. Like anywhere, you need to sift through the threads to find the information you need.

You know... I started to tag you on this because I knew it was discussed a lot on FABO. That's one of the differences between the two forums. FABO gets into engine building and has that fantastic tech "articles" section that I refer to often.

Environmentally friendly, ie; interior Friendly convertible pump fluid

What you have is a hydraulic pump with a couple cylinders. Can't get much simpler than that. You could put water in it and it would work, but probably not for long, but really you need a fluid that lubricates the working parts of the pump and keeps the seals in good condition. So really...

Suggestions for a "Performance" muffler that isn't too loud

Thanks for sharing your experience. Just to confirm, as you mentioned getting new mufflers, you removed the x pipe and went "true duals" with the same mufflers and that completely got rid of the drone? Also, are those mini catalytic converters?

You won't loose much compression because of the larger gasket or because of the thickness unless you go crazy with those sizes. We build a lot of engines over at FABO and talk about this a lot. For a street car rebuild, just use the smallest/ thinnest gasket you can find. Summit is a good place...
