    Trans fluid .

Yes you can do this on 727 & 904 transmissions. The return line on the trans is the rear line and it is the easiest one to unhook. I have done in many times. Run the trans until it gets warm, unhook the return line from the trans, slide a 3/8 rubber line over the end and run it into a bucket...

    Trans fluid .

I have done this many times before. On vehicles that don’t have a converter drain plug or I can’t get the plug out clean. Unhook the return line and run in neutral. I usually hook up a rubber line run it out from under the car so I can see when it stops pumping and kill the engine.

    Trans fluid .

I totally agree with BigJohn but wanted to add a couple of comments. First the converter will drain slowly so I usually start that draining first. Second after you put in the new fluid block your wheels or set your parking brake and put the transmission in neutral when you start it. Torqueflight...

For Sale Fury Big Block Exhaust Manifolds

These were on my 70 Fury when I got it but I looked up the numbers and I think they are for 1975. Good shape nothing broken. The valve works and the spring is still good. $100 for both plus shipping.

    1967 727 rebuild -> which rockauto parts/set needed?

If reverse is still working then your band is probably still good so I would order the kit below. I would also replace the front band also shown below. Yes a 727 is fairly easy to rebuild but if you have to change any bushings you should have some experience with them. Also you MUST check end...

1971 to 1970 Plymouth Fury parts exchange

No I didn’t end up buying it. The windshield ended up having a crack on a corner and the seller would not come down enough on the price. What are you looking for?

NOT MINE 1969 Plymouth fury 3 Convertible

I sent him a message asking how original the car is. Here is his response "I was told it was numbers matching, and was lightly restored in the 90s" he is going to send a picture of the tag later today. In my mind "lightly restored" could mean many different things from a repaint or it could...

NOT MINE Not Mine: 1970 Sport Fury

I don’t have anything to do with this car. I just saw it and thought I would let the group know. I agree it seems to be overpriced but it does look like a survivor that doesn’t have hidden bodywork done. I’ll refrain from posting my findings from now on.

    That would do it.

    Driveline noise/drone/vibration

One thing I was taught to do was drive the vehicle at the speed it is the worst the shift into neutral and coast. If the issue stays it rules out engine and most of the transmission and you can then focus on the drive line. Have you tried putting the car on 4 jack stands and running it up to...

383 Built with a "Lumpy" cam - Running too Rich - Will Change of Metering Rod Springs Help?

Until the OP provides more info I will reserve my comments because there are many variables involved in tuning carter/edelbrock carbs. I have set them up many times for single and twin carbs. The hardest one was setting two up for use on a tunnel ram with a big cam that had extremely low...

Where are all the fuselage brake calipers?

I have done it three ways. On the car, on one side of the car remove the caliper from the rotor, but leave the brake line hooked up, take the pads out and place a block of wood in the caliper so the piston can come almost all the way out. You don't want the piston to come all the way out...

Where are all the fuselage brake calipers?

They are pretty easy to rebuild. Seals and new pistons will only cost you about $60. If you buy a rebuild caliper it is going to be a chunk of money.

    No title bill of sale

It is my understanding, from buying a car from GA, that they don’t issue new titles on cars older than 10 or 15 years they just give you a new registration.

    No title bill of sale

lol when I got my title in Michigan the clerk asked me “What’s a Furry?” I said “it’s like the van on dumb and dumber” she believed me. Then I said “no it is an old car made by Plymouth and pronounced Fury” she just laughed and said “I’ve never heard of a Plymouth either” Made me feel old. Back...
