Has anyone used Oshpo rust treatment for their resto project? If so, what were your experiences?

I tried to bleed the brake system yesterday....

Reading your post is bittersweet for me since it gives me a hint towards a solution for my current "discovery" trying to bleed the rear brakes while sweating the possibilities of replacing all of the lines and rear wheel cylinders. More to follow....:BangHead:

persistent leak at the master cylinder

*UPDATE* After using the Dremel method I mentioned in the previous post, I managed to solve the problem of the leak.

persistent leak at the master cylinder

Folks, I turn to you for advice for my brake problem. After replacing the calipers and brake pads on my 1973 Dodge Polara, I found a great deal of rust and corrosion inside the master cylinder from contaminated brake fluid. Since a rebuilt unit from Auto Zone cost less than $30, I figured it...

    Disc Brake Hoses

I seem to be a bit late to the party but I had the same concerns last week when I replaced the flexible brake lines on my 1973 Polara. They seemed like just a bit tight of a fit, but just enough to thread into the caliper and brake line without incident. The comment previously made regarding the...

Slider pins won't tighten all the way in?!

I had a similar experience recently when trying to install new calipers and pads on my 1973 Polara. I wound up stripping one of the slider pins that came with the new calipers. I then removed the adapter that bolts to the spindle only to strip one of the bolts. :BangHead: I then calmly put my...

    One of my Hero's

That is a great image of a real leader driving an American product. I miss those days when most of America understood that the nation was great and unique.

OK, I am not a good welder.

You just helped me decide against attempting a similar project.

*FOUND* Miller special tool of unknown application

Greetings all. This evening in my work room, I rediscovered an old tool I purchased some 25+ years ago at a flea market. It appears to be some sort of seal driver. Stamped on the tool are the words Miller Tools, Detroit C-579. I was hoping someone can help me solve the mystery as to its intended...

    No more General Lees

I wonder how long we will need to wait to feel "safer" and more civilized now that the sales of General Lee toys and memorabilia have been largely banned. Its good to know that the politicians as well as the media have yet again focused on such important issues.

I found this in the workroom today

I came across this old part my dad had given me around 1989 or so when the Chrysler/Plymouth dealer he worked at closed. It looks like some kind of lock mechanism but I haven't seen it before. Any thoughts as far as its application?

Fuel gauge problems now with youtube video

I do have a hole in the grommet where the blue wire that feeds power to the FSU is routed through. The reluctance I have is in regards to drilling a hole into metal. My plan is to try the fuel clamp method referenced above, but connecting it to a ground under the car to ensure the gauge works...

    c body dash tach

If it was the one about a decade ago, I do indeed remember. Before the price had rocketed into the stratosphere, I considered purchasing it myself to install in my 73' Polara. Fortunately I found a factory oil pressure gauge for a more reasonable price ($100) that included the entire left side...
