No more General Lees

You know, I just can't go into maniacal rages anymore. And this specific topic would have had me go into one.
I just can't anymore. It was too depressing. I'm glad to see some of the new members take up the slack. Now I just chime in on occasion with short cute ones....

You're learning

Yea, and a couple of spineless bastards had a problem with something I said in a previous thread that was removed. All I am saying is.....those who support the downfall of the principles of this country better think twice. It is not when Hell will break loose, it has already started.

On the bright side....

Ok, let me get this straight....I can carry my .45 ACP with a 50 rd drum magazine open or concealed where i live but I can't carry a switchblade knife.....and I can't carry either across a river down the road where I'm more likely to need them....

I can buy a Thompson .45 "pistol" with no stock and a 9in barrel and 100rd drum magazine and carry it legally with just a driver's license but the same gun with a stock and a 10in barrel and 20rd mag I need expensive special licensing because its a "short barreled rifle" and either one, still can't have across the river.......

I can have ISIS flags all over my house but no confederate flags........

I can carry a 20in Bowie knife with a fixed blade in a sheath where everyone can see it but a 3in automatic knife that police, EMS, and firemen carry in their pocket legally is no good.......

I can buy a sniper rifle that I can hit a shotgun shell at 800yrds every time I feel like it with a driver's license and 1200.00 but a full auto Mac 11 that I cant hit a barn with at 25yrds with costs upward of 7000.00 BEFORE transfer fees, federal taxes, etc is forbidden........

I can fire my 20in .300 Winchester Magnum all day long deafening my neighbors and making them very angry at me legally but if I fab a silencer for my .22 single shot, I'm a common criminal....unless, of course, I pay the transfer fees, taxes and the cost of a 400.00 piece of tubing....

I have to cover a tattoo of a topless girl on my arm before I enter my workplace or get fired immediately but pictures of girl employees making out with their girlfriends/wives or male employees with their boyfriends/husbands is just fine and dandy......

sorry, I'm ranting.....

Let's go back to this a sec, shall we?

Excuse me??? You can?
Damn.....

Can you walk into Starbucks with that?

yes you can, but the DEA says you can't plant the stock on your shoulder, you have to shoot it like a handgun. How stupid, and unenforceable is that?

Starbucks can kiss my ***... the way I see it, I'm licensed to carry...I'm carrying.

I wonder how long we will need to wait to feel "safer" and more civilized now that the sales of General Lee toys and memorabilia have been largely banned. Its good to know that the politicians as well as the media have yet again focused on such important issues.

...and when you finish ordering, say, "And don't screw up" with a maniacal grin.

Actually you'd be pretty hard pressed to find me even anywhere near a Starbucks, I'm not into all those weird sweet mocha things. But you get my point. "Signs, signs everywhere are signs...don't do this don't do that"
When I drive from PA into NY on any road there are no less than 10 signs telling you what you can't do!
Gimme a break

A friend even sent me a link on Facebook about the same thing, i.e. The Dukes of Hazzard toys issue (I collect these by the way). Again, I state I am not an American but now even MY blood is beginning to boil if it is coming down to this. I even visited Cooter's Place in Nashville when on a US road trip in 2006. I was in childhood heaven when I was in there for chrissakes! WTF is he going to do now....??

I shake my head, I really do, and I feel for you lads....
