I sold my ‘68 Sport Fury today

Mixed feelings is an understatement. I have had my ‘68 300 since ‘94. I can only imagine the feelings. Hope you’ll get to see her around town.

    “Easy” oil change drain plug

Coincidentally (ironically?)…. I tried the manual pump on my F150 yesterday. It was a pain and I am glad I only spent $7 on the pump. This thread started by looking at options for a better plug for my 2015 truck. If you are not aware of fords brilliant design for their ‘single use’ oil drain...

    Fuel gauge question

I’d start with checking that you have a good ground at the tank. There should be a metal strap spanning across a little rubber section of hose on the fuel line. I had a similar issue on my ‘68 300 and this helped a lot (didn’t completely fix my issue). If you do pull the instrument panel...

I may have turned to the dark side...

I have something from every American car manufacturer. My 68 300 (of course), 2015 Ford F150, a Chevy Bolt (my daily) and a Tesla Y (wife’s car). Love driving all of them, but the 300 is the one that gets the compliments. Give it some time…. You’ll enjoy driving the ‘71 again.

Cheating….. naw! Use all the tools in your tool box. I am always impressed when some of the folks say things like…. “Been there multiple times. Ate breakfast in that lobby. Had drinks with colleagues there”.

Apparently that is a very popular look for small bay towns in the northeast. I can almost make out the name of a company on that tank near the boat just above the family. I am still searching. :)
