    AMC Gremlin

Didn't know what you meant by wavy? From what's left of the factory paint and striping on my Son's '73 X, I thought it looked just like yours. Now I see the difference.

    Old stuff you still use.

I have a 1957-8 Olds Valve Trombone. I bought it in 1974 so that I could play in my High School Jazz Band (Stage Band). Played it for my two grandsons two weeks back; was surprised I could! Have not played (regularly) since 2011. Picture is old, from 2009. That's my Son, Jerry, with the...

What did you name your car?

There's some nice cars in these pages! I have never named any of my cars, for the same reason I don't refer to them as "he" or She," they are not alive. I do not Anthropomorphize mechanical things, nor my pets. For instance, if I had a male dog, I would not refer to his "manhood," as he has...

There are differences in the steering column, ignition location and function, side marker lights instead of reflectors, and other minor areas. I would try to find the correct one, but that's me.

I realize with the end of the war there's no need for these anymore, but it still seems such a waste. I know Boeing tried to sell the B-17 as a commuter plane. Didn't catch on.

    AMC Gremlin

I've been an AMC fan for years! I've never heard the Gremlin being referred to as 1970 1/2. I know they were introduced on April 1, 1970, so the latter half of the production cycle, but have never heard them called this. If so, then the '70 Vega and Pintos should be called that too. They're not.
