I still think we are missing a piece, the connector arm will still hit the outer metal of the motor when it spins.

We are struggling with the wipers, we thought at first we just needed the linkage bushings to attach the connector arm to the motor, but upon turning it - it just pops off. Ours has these outer metal pieces that seem to make the connector pop off as it turns. I believe we are missing a piece...
