NOT MINE 1970 Chrysler Newport parts car in SK - Canada (EW1, 383-2, no engine or trans)

CE27L0C197506 is currently for sale in FB in Morse No 165, SK. This 70 Newport Convertible is a "parts car. No eng/trans. Car had a rough patch job back in the day, and it's all falling apart now. I bought it for the decent black interior, but only the door panels and front seat will fit my...

1974 NY No Brake Lights, Horn, or Turn Signals

And the turn signal switch supplies power ignition switch. It's typical for these to short two wires together. See new switch in the link below from Rock Auto. Also check the connector and wires going into the turn signal switch for signs of melting. Might need to remove some insulation. 1974...

DO NOT USE TRICO CLASSIC WIPER BLADES

Your blades look to be the plastic type, you wont be able to strip the black from those if so. You will need to order the "Classic" blade that I have a photo posted above with part number for a 16"

Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

And here are 29 U-code 300 'verts I have in my records. I know a 30th 1970 TNT 300 ragtop, but I have promised not to release the info about that ER6 convertible till the member who shared her tag with me (and with two other members) has managed to acquire it.

I've ordered from temu a couple times for crap for my kids. It showed up. Trash quality but they were happy until they were onto a new interest like usual. Wouldn't buy anything expecting it to be of any quality though.

Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

I indeed made a mistake in the above post (copy/paste gone bad). Thank you @Samplingman for pointing out that duplicate. Looking back at my records, I see that I made another mistake in this old post: The first 300, bought/sold by @plymouth67 back in 2012, was CM27T0C159165 ; the other car, a...

Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

None that I can see, but I’m still going through my notes. I have a spread sheet, do you mind if I combine your list with mine? It would make it easier to check for duplicates.

    How rare is it?

Reviving this thread to add the VIN for searchability. Has anyone seen CM27T0C159165 more recently?

My New (to Me) 73 Imperial LeBaron

I have 3 Imperials and feel pretty knowledgeable about them. My advice is to get a service manual from Faxon Auto Literature or Bishko Books if you haven’t already done so. Carburetor restoration, not just rebuild, can be done by All American Carburetors in Florida. I have used them twice so...

    Battery Upgrade - 1963 Imperial

I have a non-stock battery tray. A little wider and it perfectly fit a group 65 from my ford explorer. 850 CCA vs 810 for 27 (costco/interstate). 65 battery is the same length, almost 3/4" inch wider, and not as tall.
