My green ‘75 Imperial Crown Coupe is priceless to me just based off the enjoyment and memories I’ve had with it the past 10 years and I think I’d be hard pressed to find another triple green ‘75 Crown Coupe in similar condition if I ever had to replace it. My gray ‘75 Crown Coupe I got a couple...
We would certainly love some pictures to help answer that question but assuming it’s been stored inside, has minimal rust, a decent interior, and an engine that isn’t seized I’d say anywhere between $2500-$4500.
I might be a little formal Imperial biased but I like it! I don’t even mind the color. Interior looks like it could use a good deep clean but overall it looks like it would be a real nice presentable car with a little TLC.
We do generally tend to be a frugal crowd with limited storage and bank accounts, so of course a few cars and parts are bound to fall through the cracks every now and then. I just don’t understand the hate if someone is willing to offer parts from cars that are typically too far gone to be saved...
I cringe every time the 5 letter D word is brought up concerning C-bodies (especially Imperials) or any other full size car from the 60/70s regardless of condition, but thank you Owen11x for at least offering parts for sale here. Better that someone with a love for these cars have a chance to...
Well looked at the Imperial today and unfortunately it was a pretty big disappointment. The person with the Facebook ad posted it for his dad, the actual seller. Car looked good from 20 feet away but the drivers frame rail was so soft that you could put your hand through it. Seller claimed that...
Thanks SteveL. for posting. I don’t have Facebook and would not have seen the ad otherwise. I had a friend message the seller for me yesterday and gave him my number. Seller called me back today and I am going to look at the car tomorrow afternoon. Apparently he inherited an estate and has about...
Made the road trip to Lake City this past weekend and was able to check out the cars prior to the auction. Steve the owner was super nice and came across as being very knowledgeable. For being a “derby guy” he actually did try and save the ones he has. Unfortunately he sold off all the parts he...
FYI - hundreds of additional pictures have now been added to the auction website of the cars giving a much better idea of their condition. Also on the Proxibid site it lists the engine size and running condition.
I am going to try and inspect the cars in person the weekend before the auction...
Holy C-body collection Batman! I will be planning on going for sure, and most likely be bringing a trailer. It’s about 2 and a half hours from me. I see several cars that peak my interest and hope to at least come home with some formal Imperial parts.
I got the shirt off the Chrysler Collection website a few years ago, so it’s actually an “official” Chrysler shirt and not some bootleg knockoff. The Imperial script is on the backside.
They have another Imperial shirt on their website right now that I will also be ordering.
