I have seen it done on small chips on my cross country suburban. Just basically super glue and then a suction cup on top of that glue. Suck all the air out and it hardens the glue. I suspect a highly UV resistant glue, not just super glue. Then they cut off the excess with a razor and polish...

Had not thought of filling it. That might make the chip bearable.

I forget there was not a vert C body in 71. The E body had verts so my mind reverts to ebodies as my baseline.

I am surprised at the amount of compatible cars. Also surprised the imperial uses the same windshield as the rest of the fleet.

My 71 Newport needs a new windshield. Overall it is in beautiful shape but the previous owner was tailing a semi and a rock put a big chip right in the drivers eye sight of the windshield. The chip is so bad you can actually see it from a distance in the picture below. I have had no luck...

@straightjob You're car has an SPD (scheduled production date) of A13, October 13th 1969. Can you post a picture of the drivers door sticker? That would tell us when the car came off the assembly line and what the actual production date ended. Great looking car !!

Ok. I could be wrong as well. However it is all advertising for the sites. The only thing to gain is the use of the tent/chairs and tables. Not poking anyone.

In some way, it does help you. The "club" provides some meals and meet ups and some much needed shade while roaming the fields. It also provides value to the owner of the site as he gets advertising out of it. Better to help others in our hobby than just be a loaner and not help anyone...

I don't think they require you to park with other B bodies. You still have to line up with your class. Matter of a fact, I have asked if I can park my A body Warrior barracuda with my club, ebodies.org . I was told that I can not park my A body with the E bodies even if that is my club...

I can't say I was old enough to remember the majority of things on this thread. However I do know that the Western Airplane (post 1582) is at the old Colorado Springs Airport before it was moved.
