Screenshot of the Day

How about a screen shot of the day from me. Just a small sampling.
Some of my inexperience as a general contractor for 20 years and a framer for 10.
I design, then create plans with my architect and then I build them myself.

I'm definitely still learning and need some more experience.

Would any of yal like to come have a custom home built in Colorado? Right in the middle, surrounded by something like 15 peaks that are 14,000 that you can see from all of your windows?

Nice houses there... hope they aren't built too close to a river.

Nope, no hurricane's up here.
I have built a few right on the Arkansas river but mostly above the pre dam era of Twin Lakes and Clear Creek. It would take the biggest snow Colorady has ever seen to flood the Arkansas more than the pre dam banks.
We had 14' of snow in 07 and none of my river houses were threatened.
My county was carved out by massive glaciers which in turn created the Arkansas river basin. My town means Exit in spanish so basically all the water in the county that comes off the mountains exits down the canyon headed to Kansas and all the other states that use our water to create food for all the outlying states big cities.

In this picture you can see through the main windows that the bank drops about 40' to the Arkansas river.
While I built this house we had Bald eagles that would fly at our level every day looking for fish in the river. Absolutely wonderful office to work in. Eagles every day.
